Shakey's V League Season 11 1st Conference
The 1st conference of the 11th
season of the Shakey’s V League wrapped up and the Far Eastern University Lady
Tamaraws emerges as the champions, after defeating the defending champions
National University Bulldogs in 2 games both in 3 straight sets victory, Guest
Player and former FEU Star Rachel Anne Daquis emerges as the finals MVP.
This is the 1st time that FEU enters the
finals and eventually winning their 1st ever championship titles in
the SVL after 11 years of playing in the league; their highest placing was when
they placed 3rd in the league’s 9th season. FEU meanwhile
has the most championship in UAAP with 29 championship titles, the last one
they won in 2008.
In the Battle for 3rd Adamson Lady
Falcons also sweep the UST Tigresses in 2 games, the 1st one in 4
sets and the 2nd game in 3 straight sets.
Special awards were given in the 1st game
of the finals, the Best Scorer goes to Ennajie Laure, Best Blocker for Marivic
Meneses, and Best Digger for Dancel Dusaran all of them are from UST, meanwhile
the Best Receiver award was given to Cristine Agno and the Best Setter was
awarded to Yna Papa, both are from FEU. Best Attacker goes to Adamson Guest
Player Pau Soriano and Most Improve Player goes to Sheila Pineda also from
Adamson, NU Lady Bulldogs Team Captain Dindin Santiago bagged the Best Server
and the Season’s MVP award.
The Open Conference of the Shakey’s V League will
begin right after the Philippines Superliga Finals by July.

Rumored Nokia X2
After almost 3 months of releasing their 1st Android device and almost a month after the take over of Microsoft to their mobile devices arm, Nokia is said to be working on again on the 2nd generation of the Nokia X line. according to a leaked screenshot from the chinese website baidu.
Looks like the Finns are still at it in making the heavily modified android devices with the 2nd gen having a more improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8210 that supports multicore processing. The X2 might run on Quad Core as it is shown in the screen shot of the benchmarking app antutu that the X2 scored 11827
It will be featuring a bigger 1GB of RAM compared to the 512MB and 768MB of RAM on the Nokia X, X+, and XL. The 4GB ROM is still the same.
No more specs are revealed but maybe we'll see more in the upcoming months what will be the progress of the Nokia X2,if it will push through or will Microsoft halts it.

Nokia Lumia 630 launched in the Philippines
Last May 13 2014, Nokia Philippines launched their 1st Smartphone under their new name Microsoft Mobile, Led by Microsoft Mobile Philippines General Manager Karel Holub, they unveiled the Nokia Lumia 630 that is 1st launched in the Asia Pacific Region.
The Nokia Lumia 630 is the 1st Dual Sim handset of Microsoft's Windows Phone, it is also the 1st one to run on stock Windows Phone 8.1. It features a Clearblack 4.5 inch LCD Screen that is already Gorilla Glass 3 protected. It also features a new matte polycarbonate design with interchangeable shells that comes in light green, yellow, orange, white and black.
The Lumia 630 offers a smooth user experience thanks to the snapdragon quad core processor that supported with a 512MB of RAM, it also have an 8GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot. It comes with an 1830MAh Battery. It also supports a 5 megapixel camera with HD recording.
The Nokia Lumia 630 will be available on May 30 at a very affordable price of Php 7990.
