The Tamaraws went hot early in the game, taking a slight 18-14 lead at the end of the opening quarter. Moving to the second period FEU stuns the Maroons after they went on a shooting spree to make it a 22-10 quarter output to push their lead up 40-24 to end the first half.

Going to the second half the Tamaraws even ballooned the deficit as high as 27 points in the second half as UP continues to struggle in their succeeding plays giving FEU a comfortable 56-43 lead at the end of the third period.

In the final period the Maroons tried to play catch up in the final minute of the match, but FEU managed to keep the hold of their huge deficit that ended UP's winning streak.

Ron Dennison  gave 16 points for the Tamaraws in this game followed by Richard Escoto with 12 points. Prince Orizu provided solid defense for FEU as he provided 14 rebounds. The Tamaraws moves up to 4-2 record.

Ibrahim Qattara's 17 points and 13 rebounds plus Juan Gomez De Liano's 16 points didn't materialized for UP as they go down 3-2.
